ASPI up

The All Share Price Index (ASPI) recorded a gain of 27.61 points to close at 1936.13 points while the Milanka Price Index (MPI) moved in the opposite direction losing 1.43 points to close at 2694.13 points.

Diversified Holdings, Oil Palm and Chemical and Pharmaceutical sectors recorded noteworthy gains while Land and Property, Health care and Construction and Engineering sectors led the declines.

Total turnover for the day was Rs. 239.7 mn with a volume of 9.3 mn shares traded while the market capitalisation was at Rs. 497.1 bn

A total of 4405 trades were concluded during the day.
