Leading Korean Construction firm Keangnam
enterprises has proposed to the Sri Lanka Government that it will
undertake major post-tsunami construction projects in the South
including the building of the Hambantota new town.
Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse and Keangnam Enterprises Chairman
Seong Wan-jong, make a toast on a proposal made by Minister of
Foreign Affairs and Trade Ban Ki-moon, at a dinner banquet held at
the Lotte Hotel in Seoul last Thursday.
