Former captains as managers

The Sports Ministry appointed interim committee of Sri Lanka Cricket have appointed Michael Tissera and Anura Tennekoon as managers of the Sri Lanka team and the Sri Lanka 'A' team respectively.

A press release states that their appointments are effective from May 17, 2005 till May 31, 2007. Both individuals are former Sri Lanka captains of the pre-Test era and have been managers of national teams in the past.
