Veterans table tennis c'ships - 2005

The Veterans Table Tennis Championship 2005, conducted by Veterans Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka for the 3rd successive year will be held at the St. Thomas College Indoor Stadium on Sunday 10th July, 2005.

All entries should be sent to: Sarath Wijesuriya, Tournament Secretary, Veterans Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka, C/o Finance and Planning Division, National Savings Bank, Colombo 3. The closing date for the entries would be 30th June, 2005. The draw will be held on 4th July 2005 at 4 p.m. at Otter Aquatic Club. The following events will be conducted:

Women's events: Over 40 years - Singles and Doubles.

Men's events: 40-49 years - Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles. 50-59 years - Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles. 60-64 years - Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles. 65-69 years - Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles. 70-74 years - Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles. Over 75 years - Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles.

The following Sri Lanka veteran players will participate in these championships: M. M. M. Laffeer, Dr. G. N. Lucas, Fida Hissain, J. C. Fernando, S. S. de Silva, Rajiva Wijetunga, Sarath Wijesuriya, N. H. Piyadasa, Jayasiri Ittapana, P. S. de Silva, D. M. Bandula, Namal Gunasekera, Ama Suraweera.
