Golfers from SAARC region here

Arriving in the island are golfers from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan to participate in the 7th SAARC Golf Championship that takes place from Thursday the 5th to Saturday the 7th May at the Victoria Golf Club, Digana, Kandy.

Golfers from six countries are in the fray inclusive of Sri Lanka, with Bhutan having to name its team and Maldives not having a team.

The competition is bound to be keenly contested for amateur golfing supremacy in the SAARC region.
