Pakistan are masters at Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI, Tuesday, Three solid half-centuries by the middle-order batsmen helped Pakistan Masters post a crushing 145-run win over their Indian counterparts and lift the Sheikh Zayed Cup at Abu Dhabi Stadium on Tuesday.

By virtue of beating Sri Lanka Masters on Monday, Pakistan Masters finished on top of the tri-league with two wins and thus emerged champions. This win follows closely their 4-2 defeat of India recently. In the final match of the tournament, Pakistan Masters winning the toss and batting first recovered from a shaky start at 41-4 to post an imposing score of 283-8.

Indian Masters hardly posed a threat to the total and folded up tamely for 138.
