Second half rally help CR win 22-3

CR and FC produced a superb second half rally to beat Navy SC by 22 points to 3 points in their Caltex inter club 'A' division league rugby tournament opening match played at Welisara yesterday.

CR and FC who were trailing 3-5 at half time cut loose in the second half collecting their points from one goal and three tries at the end.

Asanga Rodrigo, Rajith Jayasundera, P. Fernando and A. Dharmatilleke scored a try each for CR and FC with Sheriffdeen converting one try. Senthil Kumara put over the solitary penalty for Navy SC. Shamrath Fernando refereed.
