Help save his life
M.M. Hamjad of 65/4, Zahira College Road, Dharga Town is suffering
from acute heart ailment. Dr. K. Prasad, Consultant Cardiologist at
Apollo Hospitals has recommended an urgent heart surgery which is
estimated to cost Rs. 380,000.
He says his family is unable to foot this bill, due to their present
financial plight. Therefore philanthropists and the general public are
kindly requested to assist Hamjad's cause by sending whatever financial
contributions possible to help expedite the surgery.
All contributions should be remitted to the Account No: 1-017384-8 at
Bank of Ceylon, Dharga Town branch.

Master Tharindu Nirmal (6) of 125/6A, Kandakotuwa Road, Malamulla,
Panadura is suffering from a congenital heart disease (Tetralogy of
Fallot) and Dr. Aruna Kapuruge, Consultant Cardio Thoracic Surgeon, Sri
Jayewardenapura Hospital has recommended an urgent heart surgery to save
his life.
The surgery and other expenditure including disposables and drugs is
estimated to cost nearly Rs. 400,000. The child's parents Galge Nihal
and Mrs. Nalani Munasinghe say they are unable to foot this bill due to
their present financial plight.
They request philanthropists and the general public to assist their
son's cause by sending whatever financial contributions possible to help
expedite the surgery. All contributions should be remitted to M. A.
Nalini, Account Number 8410007341 at the Commercial Bank, Panadura
branch.
Sarasaviya staffer passes away
Sunil Horesious, 51, a staff member of "Sarasaviya" film weekly and
veteran writer on films and film artistes had died under tragic
circumstances on Thursday night. His body now lies at the Jayarathne
Parlour at Borella and will be cremated today at 4 p.m. at the Borella
General cemetery, Colombo. |
