Scribes invited to Jaipur conference

THE Sri Lanka Press Association (SLPA) has received an invitation for 25 journalists to attend a media conference to be held in Jaipur, India and a tour of Uttar Pradesh. The conference begins on June 23.

Sri Lanka Press Association President D.F. Kariyakarawana said journalists hoping to attend the conference would have to bear the travelling expenses either by direct flight to Jaipur or flight to Madras and train journey from Madras to Jaipur.

Journalists interested in attending the conference should write to the Sri Lanka Press Association Headquarters at 187, R.A. de Mel Mawatha, Kollupitiya or call the SLPA President on 011-2775606.

Organisers inform that direct participation at the conference would be a disqualification.
