Pakistan single country exhibition from April 28
Pakistan's Export Promotion Bureau is organising Pakistan's first
single country exhibition 'Pride of Pakistan' at the BMICH from April
28. to 30.
A range of Pakistan products including textiles, carpets, furniture,
machinery, electronics, stationery, juices and fruit preparations, food
items, onyx, cosmetic, jewellery and handicrafts are being put on
display.
Besides, service sector will also be represented. Pakistani exporters
participating in the Exhibition will hold meetings with the interested
Sri Lankan importers to discuss further business deals.
During the visit of the President of Sri Lanka to Pakistan in
February, the two sides agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in the
field of commerce and trade. Besides concluding a Free Trade Agreement,
they decided to hold single country exhibitions to create greater
awareness to each other's trade potential.
Minister of Trade, Commerce and Consumer Affairs, Jyaraj
Fernandopulla will open the exhibition on April 28. It will be open to
the public from 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. till April 30.
