Sai Seva Centre distribute relief to tsunami and conflict victims
 

The Bhagawan Sri Satya Sai Seva Centre in Trincomalee is a spiritual institute entered in to service activity to help tsunami victims and also women affected by the conflict.

Twenty five sewing machines were distributed among 12 women affected by the conflict at Kuchchaveli Tampalakaman and Trincomalee and 13 women affected by the tsunami at Verugal Kuchchaveli and Trincomalee. Thirty four monofilament fishing nets were distributed among fishermen at Veeranagar in Trincomalee who were badly affected by the tidal wave.

In addition eight outboard motors also of tsunami victims were repaired.

Five water pumps were given to five schools in Nilaveli Thiriyai and Kiliveddy to draw water from wells and school uniforms were distributed among 691 students in five schools situated in remote areas such as Pamburugaswewa, Bharathipuran Nochchikulam etc.

Swamy Athmagananandaji of the Ramakrishna Mision, Colombo and Central Coordinator, of Sri Sai Centre in Colombo M. Vanniyasegaran also participated at the distribution of relief materials. Chairman Bhagawan Sri Satya Sai Seva Centre Trincomalee N. Puhendran coordinated the events.
