Be more vigilant - IGP

Inspector General of Police Chandra Fernando yesterday requested the public to be more vigilant during the Sinhala and Tamil New year of robbers and to keep a close eye on their belongings.

The IGP told the Daily News yesterday that several Police teams have been deployed in Colombo and the suburbs to assist the public during the festive season. "The Public can complain at the nearest Police post or inform a Police constable of any incident or suspicious activity," the IGP said.
