New year FD bonus from The Finance

The Finance Company Limited today announced a 01% cash bonus for all new fixed Deposits (FDs) during the forthcoming Sinhala and Tamil New Year season. This special feature will be operative at its 33 branches islandwide from Thursday, April 14 until the end of the month.

This special New Year gift is for our growing clientele islandwide to celebrate the company's 65th anniversary, and also, an incentive to encourage the saving habit among customers during the festive season, said The Finance Company's Deputy Managing Director and CEO Padmini Karunanayake. The company is Sri Lanka's first and the oldest finance company, and, the seventh public company to be incorporated in the country.

"It today counts over 50,000 long-standing deposit holders with 14 billion FDs, the largest deposits in the non-banking sector, the CEO added.

Some of these FDs are going down three generations, demonstrating the confidence and security the investors have with the company.
