President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga has decided to appoint with immediate effect, a Presidential Commission of Inquiry consisting of two High Court Judges to inquire and report on the recent circumstances and or any other motives leading to the attacks on those alleged to be LTTE cadres in the Batticaloa and Ampara districts, states a Presidential Secretariat Press release.
