Sujeewa and Inoka win road race

Central Province Ministry of Sports organised a Road Race over the weekend.

W.S. Sujeewa Chandrapala of Kandy and D.A. Inoka also from Kandy won the men's and women's race respectively.

Following are the results

Women's Race

1. D.A. Inoka (Kandy), 2. B.G.L. Anuradhi (N.Eliya) 3. M.R.K. Udagedara (Kandy), 4. H.M. Vijitha Kumari Herath (Kandy).

Men's Race

1. W.S. Sujeewa Chandrapala (Kandy), 2. M. Indika Bandra (Kandy), 3. S. Jeevakumaran (Kandy), 4. H.G. Amila Bandara (Kandy), 5. N.A. Bandara (Kandy), 6. N.A. Nimal Dessnayake (N'Eliya), 7. M. Ajanthan (Kandy), 8. M. Jeewantha Thusara (Kandy), 9. T.G. Sunil (Kandy).

Eighty two competitors (men and women) participated in this race from Matale, Kandy and Nuwara Eliya Districts.
