CR and FC win under 24 rugby title

CR and FC clinched the Cup championship when they defeated Sri Lanka Police SC 29-7 in the Western Province under 24 inter club seven a side rugby tournament final played at Havelock Park yesterday.

The winners collected their points from two goals and three tries while Police SC managed to score only a solitary goal. In the Plate championship final Air Force SC 'B' defeated Old Nalandians SC 24-12. The winners collected their points from two goals and two tries while Old Nalandians responded with one goal and one try.

Meanwhile Panadura RFU clinched the Bowl championship when they edged out Kotelewala Defence Academy 22-10 in the final.

The winners scored a goal and three tries while Kotelewala Defence Academy responded with two unconverted tries.
