Gas Auto Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., owned by the LAUGFS Group, has won the ISO 9001-2000 certification. Gas Auto Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., is a Company fully controlled by Sri Lankan interests.

Gas Auto Lanka entered the fuel market in Sri Lanka when it introduced LP Gas for automobiles in 1995.

Since 1995, the number of gas-run vehicles has gone up to 5% of all vehicles. In order to cater to the growing demand, the company opened 21 outlets all over the island.
