Architect Exhibition from February 17-20

The Architect Exhibition held annually in February for the last 22 consecutive years would go ahead as scheduled at the BMICH, from 17th - 20 February, the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects announced on Thursday.

The Exhibition, which attracted over 75,000 visitors last year, is expected to attract higher numbers, especially from individuals, local and foreign organizations as well as from the state sectors involved in Rebuild Sri Lanka.

The Sri Lankan government's initiative to kick start the re-construction of areas affected by the Tsunami.

The president of SLIA Architect Lalith De Silva said that the commitment and positive sentiment of the sponsors and stall holders, particularly CIC Paints the Strategic sponsor and Associate sponsors Orange Solutions, Lanka Tiles and Cameron Pale & Medina, the integrated communication agency of the Architect Exhibition, has encouraged the institute to host the exhibition as planned.
