by Sarath Malalasekera LTTE military wing leader Banu yesterday lauded the Sri Lankan Military Force for helping the people affected by last Sunday's Tsunami. He said the LTTE highly appreciated the services rendered by the Special Task Force (STF) in the East. This was revealed to the STF Commandant DIG Nimal Lewke who met LTTE military wing leaders in Arugam Bay yesterday. The other LTTE area leaders Kawsheelan, Jonathan, Manoj Master and Kulipan also met DIG Lewke along with Banu at Arugamb Bay. Banu had also told the STF DIG that they will assist and join all the activities carried out by the STF in affected areas without any discrimination. |
