NCC cricket school team to tour India by Moratuwa sports correspondent The Nondescripts School of Cricket team consisting of Seventeen players and two officials left to Bangalore on an invitation of Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) Cricket Academy of bangalore to participate in the International Match Exposure and cultural program commencing on 21st December 2004. They will play ten matches during their fifteen-day tour and the team will be led by Royalist Sesitha Gunadasa, Anandian Navin Samaraweera is his deputy. The Director of coaching, Nondescript School of Cricket and Manager Cum Head Coach of the tour Lionel Mendis told that this is an annual tour and a firmly established event and look forward with great expectations. The primary objective is to promote the game of cricket and goodwill among he two countries by meetings the people especially the schoolchildren. His deputy will be former Kalutara Sports Club and NCC cricketer and currently the Assistant Coach of Nondescript School of Cricket Sumith Kumara.
