Mithum Perera wins again

The 17-year-old promising golfer, Mithum Perera, who at the moment is enjoying a winning spree, to display mature consistency - in that having won quite a few competitions, he as well this month retained the Sri Lanka Junior Golf title and, last week in the 'Debug Computers Peripherals' sponsored Monthly Medal round golf, he lived up to his promise by coming out on top.

With around 100 golfers competing, Mithum did well to hold his own to win the senior division (handicap 0 to 9) to defeat David Evans, the runner-up.

Results

Division A - Handicap 0 to 09

Winner: Mithum Perera 67, Runner-up: David Evans 70.

Division B - Handicap 10 to 18

Winner: Ranjith Wirasinghe 68, Runner-up: Kumar Boralessa 70 B/B 9

Division C - Handicap 19 to 28

Winner: Joseph Kenny 67, Runner-up: Fazal Hameed 68

Seniors: Winner: J. M. C. Perera 75, Runner-up: W. N. D. Chandraratne 76

Masters:

Winner: Majeed Awn 67, Runner-up: Kumar Boralessa 70

Sri Lankan Pool Players
