More muscle for STF by Sarath Malalasekera The Police Commission headed by President's Counsel Ranjit Abeysuriya yesterday approved an intake of 1052 Police personnel to the Special Task Force (STF). The 1,052 Police personnel will comprise 1,000 Constables and 52 Sub Inspectors, STF Commandant DIG Nimal Lewke said. Applications will be published in the Government Gazette early next year, the STF Commandant added. |
