ETI opens branch office in Embilipitiya

Three months after re-launching operations to add a host of new services to its portfolio, Edirisinghe Trust Investments (ETI) opened the second branch office to better serve a wider sector of clientele.

ETI marked the opening of the new office in the Rasika Building, Pallegama, Embilipitiya with a ceremony attended by Company Chairperson Mrs. Soma Edirisinghe and the entire ETI Board of Directors.

The new branch office, now open on weekdays from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, offers customers financial services such as leasing, hire purchase, personal loans and real estate business.

"We are proud to make our new range of financial services available to this community to help with business development and quality of life," said Mahendra de Silva, CEO of ETI, at a ceremony marking the branch opening. "This exciting day for ETI is a key step in a comprehensive plan to expand our array of high quality financial services across the country."

Business people in Embilipitiya will benefit from the work of an experienced, efficient team led by Sujeewa Lokuhewa to staff the new branch, De Silva said. With correct paper work, the team can process lease applications within eight hours.

Future branches are also planned for Matara, Kurunegala and Nuwara Eliya to complement services already available at branches in Colombo and Moneragala. Six more branches are in the pipeline next year.

After 35 successful years in the financial sector, ETI re-launched operations in August to highlight an ambitious scheme to widen its product portfolio.

Renowned for its safe and reliable lending services, the new-look ETI expanded operations into Leasing, Real Estate, personal and vehicle loans and Property Developments.

Especially Motor Vehicle leasing will be offered for both unregistered and registered vehicles at very competitive rates.

Under a new Housing Project Scheme launched in October, ETI will utilise unique design concepts developed by a team of top-notch architects to offer accommodation in super-luxury, semi-luxury, and low-income categories. The latter will be targeted to those employed in the public sector.
