Matale CC to honour its members by S.M. Jiffrey Abdeen, Kandy Sports Corr. Matale Cricket Club - the only club playing Sara trophy cricket from the Matale District will honour its members for their services and dedication at a Colours Award Ceremony in connection with their 17th anniversary celebrations to be held at the Thilanka Rest House in Matale on December 18th commencing 6.30 p.m. Chief Minister of the Central Province Sarath Ekanayake will be the Chief Guest. Also gracing the occasion as Guests of Honour will be Parliamentarian Wasantha Aluwihara, Central Province Minister of Health Champaka S Wijeratne, former Matale District Parliamentarian and Central Province Chief Minister Nandamithra Ekanayake, Mohan Weerakoon, General Secretary of the Central Province CA Janaka Pathirana, and Honorary Secretary of the Matale District CA Sujeewa Godaliyadde. |
