Help save his life

G. Karunanayake, a father of two who is a teacher by profession is suffering from acute renal failure and medical specialists treating him have recommended an urgent kidney transplant to save his life.

The surgery to be performed in India is estimated to cost Rs. 1 million. Mr. Karunanayake says he has found part of the money amounting to Rs. 500,000 including a donation of Rs. 300,000 from the President's Fund.

He says he is unable to foot the balance due to his present financial plight and requests philanthropists and the public to assist his cause by sending whatever financial contributions possible to help expedite the surgery.
