Iran to host meeting of Iraq's neighbours on November 30: Zebari SHARM EL-SHEIKH, Egypt, Monday (AFP) Iran is to host a meeting of Iraq's neighbours on November 30 at the level of interior minister as part of efforts to restore security, Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari told AFP on Monday. "Iran is going to host on the 30th of this month a meeting of the interior ministers of Iraq's neighbours which we actually proposed back in June and it has only been decided now," he said. Zebari said the international conference on Iraq opening in the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh later Monday would aim to "reassure our neighbours" over the intentions of the US-led forces in his country. |
