Superb double by Sanath Jayasuriya

Test cap Sanath Jayasuriya produced a fine all round performance as Bloomfield defeated BRC on the first innings in their Premier League division one cricket tournament match played at Havelock Park yesterday.

The off spinner captured 4 for 59 to dismiss BRC for 328 runs and then hammered a sparkling 96 with nine sixes and five boundaries in the second innings.

Half centuries from Shantha Kalawitigoda (81), Jeevantha Kulatunga (52) and Sajith Fernando (81) helped Colts CC register a first innings win over Air Force SC in their Premier League division one cricket tournament match played at Havelock Park yesterday.

CCC edge out Tamil Union

Nisal Randhika and Malinda Warnapura captured three wickets each as CCC edged out Tamil Union on the first innings in their Premier League division one cricket tournament match played at Maitland Crescent yesterday.
