NDB Bank comes to Chilaw

The NDB Bank opened its Chilaw Branch on November 1, at the Skyline Building on the Colombo-Chilaw Road. offering customers the convenience of project finance and commercial banking services under one roof.

"It has long been the goal of the NDB Group to provide financial solutions to its customers.

Now, with the close links between NDB and NDB Bank, this is becoming a reality," said the General Manager of NDB - Nihal Welikala speaking at the opening ceremony.

The Bank will not only complement the project finance and SME finance services of NDB, for our corporate clients, but we will also be able to meet customers' day to day personal banking needs.

New JBIZ chief

President of the National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka, Kingsley Bernard has been appointed as the Joint Business Forum (Jbiz) chairman with effect from November 4, 2004.

He succeeded ICCSL chairman Mahendra Amarasuriya. The position is changed on a rotational basis and all J-biz activities will be coordinated by the NCESL Secretariat in the future.
