World Bank funding project:

NERDC to build 90,000 low-cost houses in North and East

The National Engineering Research and Development Centre (NERDC) will assist the government to construct 90,000 cost effective houses in the North and East under the World Bank funding. The project will be completed by 2008, Head of Civil Engineering Department NERDC G. K. K. Ariyaratne said.
