JAYAWARDENE - MARY THERESE, With deep sadness the family announces the passing away, on September 15th 2004, of MARY JAYAWARDENE in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Richard Jayawardene, sister of the late Tom and John Roper - tyler, loving mother of Asoka (Canada), late Tissa and Sita and of Ranee Perera (Canada) and Nihal (Canada), mother-in-law of the late Dr. Douglas Senaratna, Malini (Canada), Sagarika, Anton Perera (Canada) and Dharshini (Canada), Loku will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her grandchildren Sharmini and Dr. Nihal Herath, the late Jehan Senaratna and of Ajantha Perera, Umadanthi and Nishantha Jayamanne, Harsha and Shiromi Perera, Erandathie and Albert Pieris, Ryan Jayawardene, Richard and Rochelle Jayawardene, Sharon and Richard Mendis, Denise Jayawardene & Kevin Jayawardene, Her 11 great-grandchildren and her two faithful caregivers Gunapala and Deepika. The family will receive relatives and friends at A.F. Raymonds Funeral Parlour between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Parlour on Tuesday 21st September at 4.30 p.m. to be followed by Cremation at General Cemetery, Kanatte.
