News Business Features Editorial Security Politics World Letters Sports Obituaries | Anura to address Eco-tourism meet in India Industry, Tourism and Investment Promotion Minister Anura Bandaranaike will deliver the keynote address tomorrow at a conference on Eco-Tourism organised by the Federation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India (FCCI) at the invitation of Indian Tourism Minister, Renuka Chandhurg. During his stay in India, Bandaranaike is also scheduled to call on Indian Prime Minister Man Mohan Singh, Congress Party Leader Sonia Gandhi, Foreign Minister Natwar Singh and Minister Manishankar Aiyer. He will be hosted to a private dinner by former Prime Ministers Atal Behari Vajpayee and Inder Kumar Gujral, both his close friends. He will also host a dinner for Cabinet colleagues from India and India's leading business personalities at the Inter Continental Hotel in New Delhi. He will pay a brief visit to Bangalore for a private audience with Satya Sree Sai Baba and host a seminar for Indian tour operators in Bangalore, where he is scheduled to address them followed by a question and answer session. |
