Young Fijians win invitation rugby title

Nawaka School from Fiji won the Cup championship at the Isipatana invitation international under 19 seven-a-side rugby tournament concluded at Longden Place yesterday.

Nawaka School defeated Thialnd Blues 43-10 in the final having led 24 nil at half time. The winners collected their points from four goals and three tries while Thailand Blues managed to score only two tries.

St. Anthony's Collge Katugastota took the Plate championship with a 36-19 win over Thurstan College in the final. St. Peter's College beat Ananda 22-17 in the Bowl tournament final while Science College defeated Habs College from England 29-7 in the Shiled tournament final.

In the ladies tournament final Kelani Valley edged out Slimline 7 nil with the winners scoring a goal.
