Political victimization investigation committee set up

The Skills Development, Vocational and Technical Education Ministry has set up a Political Victimisation Investigation Committee under the chairmanship of its Deputy Minister Duminda Dissanayake, to investigate complaints of political victimisation in the ministry and institutions coming under the ministry, during the period from December 2001 to April 2004.

The committee will entertain appeals direct from the victims, till August 30, 2004 under registered post. Such appeals must be addressed to the Chairman, Political Victimisation Investigation Committee, Ministry of Skills Development, Vocational and Technical Education, No. 18, Ward Place, Colombo-07.

A specimen application form in this regard was published in the 'Dinamina' Sinhala newspaper of July 28, 2004.
