Havies stun CH 19-14

Havelocks pulled off a sensational 19 points (2 goals, 3 penalties) to 14 (2 goals) win over CH & FC in their "return" Caltex League Rugby Championship game at Maitland Crescent on Saturday after leading 10-0 at half time.

It must be mentioned that the referee scheduled for this game was Priyantha Gunaratne, but he failed to turn up, and D. Nimal who was at the Royal vs S. Thomas' game was sent to Maitland Crescent to "blow" the club game.

What a disgrace. On Friday, CR & FC beat Army by 37 points (3 goals, 2 tries, 2 penalties) to 9 (3 penalties) at Galle Face in another "return' Caltex League Rugby Championship game.

Last week, Air Force beat Old Zahirians by 27 points (2 goals, 2 tries, 1 penalty) to 23 (2 goals, 3 penalties) at Ratmalana in the Plate category.
