Asian Alliance rewards 64 star performers Asian Alliance Insurance Company (AAIC) rewarded 64 star performers of their Life Sales Division at the Company's third consecutive Sales Convention, at the Colombo Plaza recently. Two hundred sales personnel excelled from a total sales force of approximately 450 Insurance Advisors, sixty-four star performers were awarded commemorative silver and gold awards. The Best Regional Distribution Manager, Best Field Management, Best Performance of the Year and the Most Valuable Sales Person awards made the high point of the day. The eligibility for participation and awards was based on a unique criteria involving building high business volumes whilst adding value to the customer and building the pride of profession. Insurance Advisors who achieved the highest values within these criteria whilst adhering to the highest standards of quality were recognised at this year's event. This year's theme was 'Quality Awards 2004' which was based on the continuous importance given to quality of service by Asian Alliance Insurance. Dr. Sena Yaddehige - Chairman of AAIC said, "Asian Alliance Insurance is part of a large group of local and international companies, which consists of over thirty-five thousand employees". CEO of Asian Alliance Insurance Ranjit Weerasinha, said, "We have achieved the first position in terms of average policy value in the insurance market," indicating that Asian Alliance possesses the best team of sales personnel, who are more than competent in taking on the present day challenges in the insurance market. "We have been able to convert our Rs. 59.9 million loss in 2002 to profitability in 2003". Weerasinha launched three new products namely Alliance Auto-plus, Alliance Medical Plus and The Employee Group Benefit Plan. |
