Informatics contract for AvaBill Telecom Software Informatics (Pvt) Ltd, a local ICT company signed a contract recently with Tonga Communications Corporation (TCC) in the Kingdom of Tonga to provide its AvaBill Telecom Software. This major undertaking comes in the wake of company entering the international market showcasing the competence of Sri Lanka's ICT sector and they are planning to capture the international market on a large scale. The project is undertaken by Informatics as a Turnkey Solution, providing total hardware, OS and RDBMS integration services as well. The project is already under way and is expected to be completed in time for TCC to launch GSM Post Paid Services and Roaming facilities to its valued Customers and Tourists to Tonga. The AvaBill Telecom Software modules are supplied to support GSM Services, and once implemented will allow TCC to launch Post-paid GSM Services and Roaming Services to its customers and tourists with GSM roaming. The AvaBill Mediation System, will collect usage records from the Alcatel GSM Switch and distribute to the Billing and Roaming Systems. The entire process is automated and requires minimal user intervention. The AvaBill Roaming Management Solution the other module bought by TCC is designed to manage all aspects of providing a Roaming service to Inbound and Outbound GSM Roaming Customers and supports TAP 2+ and TAP 3.10.
