BT Options, the publishers of Business Today, Explore Sri Lanka and Style magazines, have been selected as the Sri Lankan media partner for the Global Brand Forum 2004.

The Forum, which is due to be held at the Raffles City Convention Centre, Singapore on August 16 and 17, will see some of the world's brightest minds exchanging views and proposing solutions to many of the prevailing leadership issues facing brands and businesses today.

Renowned world figures such as Rudy Giuliani, the former Mayor of New York City, Frances Ford Coppola, the winner of five Academy Awards, ten Oscar nominations and two Cannes Film Festival Palme d'Or Awards and leading Harvard leadership authority Warren Bennis are among the keynote speakers who are expected to address participants at the forum.

The speakers on the theme 'Redefining Leadership in Brands and Business' include Russell Simmons, Chairman/CEO of Rush Communications and Co-Founder/Chairman of Def Jam Records and leading marketing strategist and author, Al Ries, Kiran Bedi, civilian police advisor to the United Nations, Geoffrey Frost, Global Chief Brand Officer, Motorola and Chew Choon Seng, CEO of Singapore Airlines.

Chairman of the Global Brand Forum Karthik Siva said, "With this Forum we aim to expand the potential of brands into a greater social, cultural and global context. By exposing delegates to new ideas and having them interact with such iconic speakers the Forum provides a chance to bring about positive change in the way the world does business."

Global Brand Forum is supported by IE Singapore, the Singapore Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts, the Singapore Tourism Board, CNN, Fortune, Time, The Straits Times, Business Today, Singapore Airlines, IBM and Motorola.
