Log Cabin, a popular attraction in the cool climes

Log Cabin, a lodge situated 20 miles from the famous hilly city of Dickoya with its biting cold has become a popular tourist destination of an astonishing mix of people around the country.

The lodge consisting of three bedrooms and a beer garden has been made of wooden planks overlooking the range of mountains which provides breathtaking sightseeing to the tourists.

Log Cabin, built by a British planter during the colonial era, was opened for local tourists four years back by the authorities of the Robgill Estate managed by the Kelani Valley Plantation (Pvt) Limited.

The swimming pool where water flows from mountains has been a common option for a large number of tourists who gleefully dive into the pool. The Log Cabin is a five hour drive from Colombo and it is ideal for families to relax in Salubrious climes.
