Hasitha leads junior paddlers to Taiwan

Hasitha Samaraweera, Table Tennis team captain of Dharmaraja College, Kandy has been selected to lead the Sri Lankan junior Table Tennis team to participate in the TAIWAN International Junior Table Tennis Open Championship - 2004 from June 22 to June 27, 2004.

The Girls Junior Table Tennis team will be led by Ashinika Ratnayake of Holy Family Convent, Kurunegala.

The Boys teams consist of- Hasitha Samaraweera, Muditha de Silva, Dilshan Chaturange, Sajith Kavinda, Dulan Nakandala, Kasun Nilanga, Pasan Dimsara Kavikeshawa, Chameera Ginige, Oshadi Warnajith Kottahachchi, Dushan Ranatunga, Lilanka Chavindu, Samith Abeyratne, Malith Dilusha and Hasintha Sushiranga.

The Girls team comprise of - Ashinika Ratnayake, Sanduni Kavithilake, Irunika Priyadharshani, A.C.K. Udugama, Wasana Chaturangi, Chausalya de Silva, Kumarini Basnayake, Madushani Perera, Chavindya de Silva, lakmini Karunaratne and Nadini Samaraweera.

Southern Province Table Tennis Association Secretary A. W. Anuralal will be the manager cum coach of the Sri Lankan contingent, said Senior SP Daya Samaraweera, President of the Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka.
