It was with much trepidation that I decided to accept this distinct
honour to felicitate the memory of one of the most distinguished sons of
Lanka. I say with trepidation, Mr. Minister, because I am always aware of
my own inadequacies while having to stand in the formidable shadow of that
great human being, a fountain of sparkling wisdom, for the next short
