Brattskar to visit Kilinochchi today by Ranil Wijayapala Norwegian Ambassador Hans Brattskar is scheduled to visit Kilinochchi today to meet LTTE leaders and to hold discussions on the current state of the peace process, diplomatic sources told the Daily News yesterday. The scheduled meeting between the Norwegian facilitators and the LTTE takes place after a lapse of several weeks following Norwegian Special Peace Envoy Eric Solheim's meeting with the leadership in their bid to resume peace talks between the Government and the LTTE. However, Norwegian embassy sources described the ambassadors meeting with LTTE leaders in Kilinochchi as a 'routine one'. |
