International Marketing Convention in Manila The International Marketing Convention will be held in Manila, Philippines on July 7 and 8 to mark the golden anniversary of the Philippine Marketing Association, which was launched by Gloria Arroyo, President of the Philippines together with The Asia Pacific Marketing Federation (APMF). This is the biggest event in the world Marketing Calendar for year 2004 and will be attended by the top Marketers around the world, including the President of the World Marketing Federation (WMF) Hermawan Karthajaya, a Marketing Guru, co-authoring Marketing books with Philip Kotler. Ajit Perera, former Vice President of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing and the President of the Association of Certified Professional Marketers (ACPM) is billed to be a keynote speaker at the Convention. Prof. K. U. Kamalgoda, Past President of SLIM and Vice President of the Asia Pacific Marketing Federation will be present. Tess Harris - President of the European Marketing Confederation (EMC), and Hermawan Kartajaya, President - World Marketing Association are also billed to speak at this event. The Asia Pacific Marketing Federation consists of nearly twenty countries from the region including Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Canada and Australia. Prof. J. J. F. Roces is the President of the Federation. |
