Brig. Karunaratne appointed to Peace Secretariat President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga has appointed former Military Spokesman Brigadier Sanath Karunaratne as the Director Operations at the Secretariat of Peace and Reconciliation (Peace Secretariat) with effect from today. Brigadier Karunaratne was the third Military Spokesman and was appointed Deputy Commander of the 51 Division of the Sri Lanka Army in Jaffna. He will also oversee duties as the Commander of the 51 Division Commander. |
