Indian PM files papers to run in polls, shocked by deadly stampede

NEW DELHI,Friday (AFP) Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee filed his election nomination papers in a ceremony shorn of fanfare out of respect for 21 people killed in a stampede in his constituency.
