Cyclo Cross in Nuwara Eliya The National Mountain Biking Association with Rupavahini Corporation and Mayor's Office in Nuwara Eliya has organized a Mega Cyclo Cross to coincide with Salelihini Wasanthaya in Sunday 25 April. N'Eliya Mountain Biking Cyclo Cross was introduced to N'Eliya last year with the introduction of Salelihini Wasanthaya. Within a short notice there was 510 participants at last years event. Participants from all over the country fraying for 21 slots of Gold, Silver, Bronze in many Categories of events and special incentives will be given to Riders from the Hill Country covering N'Eliya and Kandy District to make this sport popular in the hill country. The NMBA extend invitation to all resident foreign guests in the country to take part at this Cyclo Cross in events that are introduced to get a wider cross section of riders' participation. The NMBA request guests on vacation in Nuwara Eliya to keep this day free for cycling as it will make exciting sporting fare. Family, under 13 boys, U 16 boys, U 19 boys, U 19 girls, Fun Riders, Masters and Open Sports events will be worked off. Entry Coupons will Appear in All ANCL newspapers from the 15th April.
