LTTE perturbed at false reports

The LTTE is perturbed at the false news reports carried in some newspapers and TV channels, pertaining to their position on the current political situation.

LTTE sources said they have issued several statements to indicate that the LTTE will resume talks and continue the peace process with any political party that gets the most number of seats in the General Election on 2nd April, 2004 and forms the government.

If any political party gives a message to the public to the effect that the LTTE is prepared to talk only with them, it is a deliberate misrepresentation of the truth.
