ACCA accredits key companies in Lanka ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), the world's largest and fastest-growing international accountancy body, which is celebrating 100 years this year has recognised the training of three companies in Sri Lanka and awarded them accredited status. The three companies are Phoenix Group (including the Brandix Group and Phoenix Plastics) Hemas Group and Messrs Ernst and Young Chartered Accountants. Prior to this in 2002/2003 ACCA Sri Lanka had accredited key employers- Auditor General's Department, NDB, DIMO, Standard Trading, HSBC, Maharaja Organisation, SriLankan Airlines and leading Audit firms. Other key companies in Sri Lanka have been targeted by ACCA to be accredited in 2004, to coincide with its centenary celebrations. |
