"Though it being considered a peaceful atmosphere, what has been inflicted upon Dr. Thiruchelvan, becomes proof that human security has no guarantee in this land at present. Here, we request to all responsible authorities to ensure law and order and human security.

We request that concerned authorities initiate necessary judaical inquiries immediately, to bring the culprits to book, and meet out justice and provide safeguards to academic community. We also urge that such atrocious acts that could lead to the destruction of the academic community should not be repeated.
