Use your votes for victory of UPFA to win rights of Muslims - M. L. A. M. Hisbullah

Alaiyadivembu Group Correspondent

The present leader of SLMC endeavours to sell the rights of the Muslim community to our enemies.

Now there is a good opportunity for Muslims to teach a good lesson to Rauff Hakeem and send him away from the SLMC, said the former MP for Batticaloa District L. M. A. M. Hisbullah at a Public Meeting held recently at main Street, Kattankudy.

Hisbullah is contesting in batticaloa District on the UPFA ticket.

Hisbullah addressing the masses said further that the UNP which came into power for five years had earlier signed a secret pact with the LTTE. In 2001, the UNP Government gradually started fulfilling the conditions of the pact by giving parts of the country to the LTTE. There is no need to explain to the masses of all communities what the UNP government did to the country and its people during its two year regime.

You the people should use the upcoming General Election to expel the corrupt UNF regime from power. It is well known to all that a large numbers of UNP supporters crossed over to UPFA from UNP as the UNP govt. has failed to solve the several burning problems of the country. The SLMC and its leader Rauff Hakeem kept silence when the Muslims were brutally killed in Mutur and Trincomalee.

I appeal to all of you to think deep at this hour of need and use of your votes for the victory of UPFA with a view to win the rightful rights of the Muslims, he said.
