Freedom Alliance Govt. will give priority to problems of politically victimized - Mahinda Rajapakse

Former Opposition Leader and Freedom Alliance National Co-organiser Mahinda Rajapakse addressing a delegation of the Politically Victimized Teachers Association held at Carlton, Tangalle, yesterday, said that the UNF Government has ignored even Court orders to implement the People's Alliance Government Cabinet decision to provide relief to 3280 school-teachers who were politically victimized during the period from 1977 to 1994.

He told the delegates that the UNP who planned to sell the Free Education system cannot be expected to give relief to politically victimized teachers and that the Freedom Alliance Government that will come in to being after April 02 will give priority to identify the problems of politically victimized people in order to usher in a better period for the masses.
